"He looked at my 12-year-old dryer, said 'don't fix this, here's why' with actual numbers, and charged me the $89 instead of the $300 he could have. Next machine breaks, I'm not calling anyone else."

Before you book

Repair or replace — how do you decide?

The 50% rule plus age: if the repair exceeds half the replacement cost and the machine is past its typical lifespan (10–13 years for most), we recommend replacing — in writing, with both numbers. Techs are salaried, so the verdict has no thumb on the scale.

My fridge just died. How fast can you come?

Fridges and freezers jump the queue — same-day for morning calls, and we'll tell you the coolers-and-ice drill on the phone to buy your food 24 hours either way.

Do you fix my brand?

Almost certainly: Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, GE, Maytag, Bosch, KitchenAid, Frigidaire, and most others. The exceptions are some luxury built-ins (Sub-Zero, Wolf) where the factory network is genuinely better — we'll say so and give you their number.

Is it worth fixing a 9-year-old washer?

Usually yes — a $220 pump beats an $850 replacement on a machine with 3–4 years left. Past year 11, the math flips. That's exactly what the written verdict sorts out for your specific machine.
