Fence installation · Cedar, vinyl, aluminum, chain link

Good fences start with deep posts.

Postline sets every post 36" deep in wet-set concrete — 12" deeper than code minimum — which is why our fences are still standing straight when the neighbors' lean. Priced per foot, quoted from a satellite measure of your actual line.

Four fences. Honest trade-offs.

Cedar Privacy

The classic 6-footer. Warm, solid, stainable — needs a re-seal every 3–4 years and we'll remind you.

$38–48/ft

Vinyl

Never paints, never rots, cleans with a hose. Costs more up front, owns the long game.

$45–58/ft

Aluminum

The pool-code and view-keeping fence. Powder-coated, rust-proof, dogs stay in and sightlines stay open.

$52–65/ft

Chain Link

Unbeatable per foot, honest about what it is. Black-coated looks better than you remember.

$18–26/ft

▮ Every quote itemizes footage, gates, and haul-away separately — compare line for line.

Before we dig

Do I need my neighbor's permission?

For a fence on your own property, no — but you do need to know where the line actually is. We locate pins or work from your plat; if the line's genuinely uncertain, a survey ($400–600, arranged by us) is far cheaper than moving a fence. Splitting costs with a neighbor? We'll write the quote both ways.

What about my property line, utilities, and permits?

We call 811 for utility marking (free, required, and we handle it), pull the fence permit where your city wants one, and set back from the line per local rules. It's all inside the quote — no errands for you.

Why do fence quotes vary so much per foot?

Post depth, concrete method, and fastener choice — the invisible stuff. A $28/ft cedar quote usually means 24" dry-packed posts and nails. Ask every bidder those three questions; we'll happily lose bids to anyone who answers them like we do.

When can you start?

Quotes within 48 hours; installs typically 2–4 weeks out (5–6 in peak spring). Materials are ordered at signing so your slot doesn't slip — and the 3-day install promise starts when we break ground.
